Business Development Manager – Media Agency

£30,000 – £38,000 + Uncapped Commission

Fantastic media sales opportunity for a highly driven, results orientated media sales individual to join a rapidly growing media agency.

As a Business Development Manager you will be at the forefront of identifying and securing lucrative advertising opportunities and selling them to a diverse range of clients.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the sale of media space across various platforms, including digital, print, broadcast, and outdoor media.

The successful candidate will have a professional and positive attitude and ideally will be interested in selling to C-Suite decision makers.

The successful candidate must have previous B2B sales experience of at least 1 year, experience in self-generating leads, and a general understanding of the media and advertising industry

Duties and responsibilities:

Business Development: Proactively identify new sales opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Understand their business objectives and propose tailored media solutions to meet their needs.
Sales Execution: Lead the entire sales cycle, from identifying leads, prospecting, and ultimately closing deals. Prepare and present compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful campaign execution.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics. Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to guide sales strategies and product development.
Requirements:

12 months B2B new business sales experience
Desire to work and learn in an office environment five days a week
Proven experience in B2B sales, advertising sales, or a similar role
Good understanding of the media landscape and advertising trends
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
