Exciting opportunity for a digital strategist to join a leading UK performance marketing media agency.
The Digital Strategist will sit within the digital team and work across multiple digital clients. This role will require you to work closely with both clients & internal teams, being a focal point for delivering market leading strategy across all digital marketing platforms, predominantly paid search, paid social, programmatic and SEO. You will report into the Senior Digital Strategist.
As Digital Strategist your role will serve as a link between client services, the clients and the digital marketing teams.
Crucially, you will lead the digital strategy for clients with the support of the internal digital marketing teams. This role is heavily client-facing therefore previous experience working into clients on a regular basis is key for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Digital Strategist
·Support the client service team on a number of clients as well as fully owning the relationship for specific clients.
·Lead the digital strategy for clients with the support of the internal digital marketing teams.
·Identify & execute commercial opportunities across all clients, ensuring our client delivers substantial ROI on digital channels.
·Support the Senior Digital Strategist by helping understand the needs & difficulties facing clients, attending marketing meetings & cementing authority in the digital space.
·Deliver a sophisticated, nuanced response wherever the delivery & reporting of digital marketing is concerned.
·Create proposals, including recommendations on budget weighting, target audiences, differentiated creative & KPIs.
·Deliver regular reports & analysis to clients & internal stakeholders, showing campaign results & highlighting key trends.
·Liaise with media owners (e.g. Facebook & Google) to trouble-shoot issues & access new features.
·Coordinate with creative agencies to acquire digital assets & deliver recommendations where appropriate.
·Consider innovative ways to boost campaign performance & stay up to date with the latest digital technology & trends.
·Support on new business pitches where required, specifically on the digital strategy and media planning.
Key Skills
·At least 2 year’s experience working within an integrated digital media role.Agency experience is preferable; however, we will consider candidates from client side with experience working within various paid media channels.
·Have demonstrable experience of planning & activating paid campaigns across digital media channels, specifically including paid social, search & programmatic.
·An aptitude for communicating, negotiating & presenting to c-level decision makers.
·A commercially focused, analytical, can-do approach.
·A strong passion for all forms of digital advertising.
·A sound understanding of bid management & analytical tools.
·Advanced working knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.
·Be a comfortable & competent communicator, able to build strong relationships within the agency & externally with our clients & media partners.
·Relishes the prospect of working across multiple accounts & platforms within a fast-paced agency environment.
·Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
